Hi, I’m Mei.

I’m a physician and incoming diagnostic radiology resident at Loma Linda University Health.

My research has focused on quantitative medical imaging: using scans to measure anatomy, understand variation, and ask better questions about the body. That work has included spinal morphometry, body composition, and radiology education.

I’m particularly interested in AI when it does something useful: makes learning easier, helps us work through information, or improves the way we do our jobs.

Outside the hospital

I’m a mom and an endurance athlete. I like long runs, a new challenge, and having interests that don’t all fit into a single job description.

Medicine matters a lot to me. So do my family, training, and making time to be a beginner at something. I don’t have a perfect system for fitting it together. I’m figuring it out as I go.
